Now that two events have taken place within the last 6 years, the face of London taxis have changed forever, gone are all the older Austin or Rover engine cabs that lasted seemingly for ever on London's streets, following wheelchair regulations. Now with the later emission control regulations, many if not all of the later Nissan engine fairways have come off as well, leaving only later converted fairway Drivers and of course the later TX's. This ruling only affects licensed Hackneys, and buyers can safely buy and own an ex-London cab is these rules do not affect private purchase.

All taxis on offer by us, are Ex-London and not ex anywhere else, as London operates the strictest rules on overhaul and licensing and will not permit leaking rust-buckets in to public service

We now carry only Nissan Fairways on stock both in the early format and later Driver versions. Stocks vary weekly as we shift so many cabs, but generally there are around at least 40-50 ex London cabs on stock at any one time. Listing, because we move many, is now meaningless, so what we ask from buyers, is to tell us in detail what they may be looking for, so that we can then match the cab to the buyer. We do have a gallery of taxis so that any buyer would then get a good idea of what we can offer.
