Buyers must be aware, that these are ex-service autos, not a standard Ford driven by an elderly
vicar, they have done thousands of miles, that is around the world and back and you do need to
purchase from a reliable dealer like us, who can provide full back up service. No we do not
strip the engine just to check that it works, if it doesn’t we don’t offer the cab. We try to
offer a vehicle that has been checked to the best of our ability with all errors and omissions
accepted. Yes things can go wrong and they do, but always put our client first and try to help
where we can.
All buyers are advised to check any requirements for entry in to their own country first as
there may be age or emission limits. Also no UK company offers temporary insurance, do not
believe what others tell you, there is nothing, you must make sure that you can insure the
car for the highway prior to collection. We will try to help here, or deliver the car to your
country’s border by arrangement.
We celebrated out twelfth year of operation during 2007, and our business has grown beyond all of our
expectations. Now very established and recognized as the industry leader for the sale and export of
these tremendous icons of Great Britain, many of these cabs are now being seen as collectable and
prices are now hardening and rising for good examples of the genre. We pioneered the idea of selling
a London taxi as a private vehicle to the great British motoring public, and thousands of these
venerable vehicles have passed through our hands generating many good friends all across the world.
It has given us a big thrill to see our taxis sold to many well recognized folk throughout the
world and today we have regular contact with many of our “Taxi-friends” all over the globe. It
has also given rise to lots of publicity and just about all of the media have contacted us to
get the low-down on taxis and of course we are always willing to help. In return we have had
excellent features in many of the quality newspapers including a big write up in both the
Sunday Times, the Telegraph, The Spectator, on TV in Top Gear twice, Men and Motors, fifth gear,
various motor publications etc plus many overseas publications as well. We also get many
visitors at our facility and we always make a point of enjoying their company and showing
them our operation.
